InterContinental New York Barclay
The InterContinental New York Barclay hotel underwent an all-encompassing, 20-month renovation. The property, which first opened in 1926 as one of the city’s original railroad hotels, debuted with more than 420,000 square feet of redesigned interiors. Under the direction of the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) Design Studio with the assistance of architects Stonehill & Taylor, interior design firm HOK, and Shawmut Construction, the team worked to restore the property’s original style while incorporating contemporary touches. Astek proudly printed the custom mural in the hotel's meeting room.
