Our Favorite Bathroom Designs
We love seeing design thrive in unexpected places. Bathrooms and powder rooms are one such example of making a utilitarian space beautiful and enjoyable. From residential powder rooms to hotel guest room bathrooms, wallcovering can transform the space, creating a mood, referencing local history, or creating an additional brand touchpoint. Below, get inspired by five of our clients’ projects featuring our print-to-order wallcovering!
This moody, Art Deco-inspired powder room by Laura Roberts Interiors fits right in with the rest of the Santa Monica “beach deco” home project. This 18-square-foot powder room packs a punch thanks to a thoughtfully curated material palette—our Tom Tom pattern is a bit playful and irreverent, but it feels chic and moody thanks to gold and black finishings, glossy black tile, and a black ceiling. At Fatmiilk Vietnamese coffee bar in Chicago, oversized custom graphics (designed by Sara Tran and printed by Astek) envelop the restaurant’s bathroom. This super-fun, over-the-top mural serves as a moment of unexpected delight as well as a brand touchpoint—it may look abstract, but it’s a blown-up version of the brand’s logo. The bright, warm yellow contrasts sharply with the edgier black and gray aesthetic of the main coffee bar, providing a funky element of surprise.
Winner: Bubbliest Personality
All that glitters is gold, and this glitzy bathroom takes it to the next level. Featuring our Inked pattern by Jeff Andrews, it feels luxe and exotic. This pattern is printed on our Silver Mylar substrate for extra shine, helping it fit right in amongst the other accents of gold and bronze throughout the space. Paired with a floating vanity and unique antique-looking mirror, this bathroom is unforgettable.

This flawless installation by Austin Paperhanging, part of a ranch in Ft. Davis, TX, features our playful Cacti mural for a splash of color. The textures of the handpainted succulents work well with the textures of the charcoal gray brick wall and the color ties in with the colorful rustic hand towel. We love the way it’s reflected in the mirror, so anyone fixing a stray hair wil have a fun background.

Studio 11 Design has thoughtfully created a space that feels both polished and relaxing, including the bathrooms. This custom map of the local Charleston area was created by the Astek design team. Rendered in a rich navy and white palette, is a beautiful detail to complement the rest of the interior– including the glowing vanity mirror.
